About Veda Academy

Veda Academy is an academic organization dedicated to the advanced study of metaphysical traditions with one clear intention: the full activation of human potential.

Rooted in ancient wisdom and applied in today’s modern context, Veda Academy offers structured courses, study circles, Sophia Circle Journeys, and integrative learning experiences that bridge modern science, disciplined spiritual inquiry, sovereignty consciousness, and embodied practice. Our work honors sacred lineages while remaining rigorously contemporary—designed for seekers who value depth, discernment, and lived transformation over abstraction.

At Veda Academy, metaphysics is not studied as theory alone. It is approached as a technology of consciousness—meant to be practiced, embodied, and integrated into everyday life.

Our Founder

Veda Academy was founded and is led by Smrita Choubey, a lifelong student, practitioner, and facilitator of ancient wisdom traditions.

Smrita is a certified Sophia Circle Journey Facilitator and an initiate of a Vedic Shaivite lineage based in Varanasi, India. Born into a Brahmin family, her early life was shaped by ritual, mantra, and reverence for sacred knowledge passed through generations. These roots laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to spiritual study—not as belief, but as disciplined practice.

Over the past decade, Smrita has pursued deep comparative study across multiple lineages, including Egyptian, Buddhist, Gnostic, and Mayan wisdom traditions. Her path has been both scholarly and experiential, informed by direct pilgrimage to sacred sites across the world. These journeys have included visits to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, Teotihuacan, Stonehenge, Mount Shasta, Sedona, Montsegur and repeated pilgrimages to Varanasi along the Ganges—each informing her understanding of how land, architecture, cosmology, and human consciousness interrelate.

Smrita has a degree in Economics from The University of Chicago and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She is the founder of Veda Farms, an Ayurvedic wellness company, and has a background in payments, finance and healthcare from Mastercard, American Express and J.P. Morgan.

Smrita’s work is distinguished by her ability to translate initiatory knowledge into structured, accessible frameworks that can easily be applied in our modern lives, without diluting its power. She is known for holding spaces that are intellectually rigorous, energetically grounded, and deeply respectful of lineage integrity.

The Living Ecosystem: Veda Farms & Veda Warrior

Veda Academy exists within a larger living ecosystem.

Veda Farms serves as the land-based heart of this work—a regenerative agricultural project on Smrita's 200-year-old family farm in Northern India. Our farm is devoted to cultivating organic grains, medicinal plants, sacred botanicals, and a restored relationship between humans and the Earth. Here, the principles taught within Veda Academy are lived through stewardship, seasonal rhythms, and direct communion with the land. The farm is not separate from the teachings; it is a teacher itself.

Veda Warrior is the outward expression of this philosophy in the modern world. Through thoughtfully formulated medicinal plant products, Veda Warrior brings ancient botanical wisdom into contemporary life—bridging Ayurveda, plant intelligence, and modern wellness systems. It represents our commitment to making sacred medicine practical, ethical, and accessible without losing its spiritual lineage.

Our Philosophy

Veda Academy stands at the intersection of:

  • Ancient initiatory wisdom

  • Academic rigor

  • Embodied spiritual practice

  • Land-based intelligence

  • Modern application

We believe that humanity is not lacking knowledge—but remembrance. Our offerings are designed to support that remembrance through structured study, guided experience, and community held with integrity.

This is a place for those called to walk the path of sovereignty, responsibility, and conscious creation—grounded in the wisdom of the past and awake to the possibilities of the future.
